Take a Look at Virgil Abloh’s Paris Fashion Week Diary 48 hours with the Off-White™ designer.

48 Hours Virgil Abloh Paris Fashion Week 2018 Fall/Winter
With his Off-White™ womenswear show being one of the schedule highlights of Paris Fashion Week — it almost caused a riot outside the venue — The New York Times decided to follow Virgil Abloh to get a closer look at Fashion Week. The resulting images — captured over 48 hours in the show’s build up and aftermath — show Abloh doing everything from painting artworks for his upcoming exhibition to signing sneakers for the brand’s fans.
As well as the show itself, the photo diary also shows Abloh making an appearance at the launch of his limited-edition Chrome Hearts collaboration, while the likes of Michèle Lamy, Bella Hadid and Luka Sabbat also appear across the two days. Over the course of the 48 hours, Abloh also discussed why he decided to show in Paris: “Paris is home to the birthplace of this idea. The names: Givenchy, Balenciaga, Dior, Yves Saint Laurent. Of course, clothes have been made everywhere, but this idea, with these principles I’ll still uphold when I’m 50 years old — I’m only doing it for that. Otherwise I wouldn’t do it. I’d be doing something else.”
In related news, Abloh may have another Nike Blazer collab on the way.
