Fear of God Unveils Collection Inspired by JAY-Z's '4:44' “A prophet is without honor in his own country.”

Fear of God JAY Z 4 44 Collection Lookbook
Both Fear of God and JAY-Z have had pretty successful runs in 2017. Jerry Lorenzo’s popular brand continues to expand by the month, collaboration with Vans and selling out sneaker releases. JAY-Z’s latest studio album 4:44 has received universal acclaim, earning him GRAMMY nominations and increasing his already-robust net worth. Now, the two creative forces are partnering for a new collection.
Taking inspirational cues from “creative conversations” about 4:44 with JAY-Z’s crew, Lorenzo and his team have crafted a new Fear of God collection motivated by the album’s themes. Revolving around “new perspectives” and “hard truths,” the new Fear of God 4:44 collection centers around a mission statement that doubles as a bible scripture: John 4:44, “a prophet is without honor in his own country.”
To introduce Fear of God’s latest drop, the brand has enlisted Tommy Ton for a unique photoshoot. You can check out Fear of God’s new JAY-Z- and 4:44-inspired collection above, while the items themselves will hit the selves of the House of God Maxfield Los Angeles pop-up shop on Thursday, December 21.
