Balenciaga Named World’s Hottest Brand for Third Consecutive Quarter With a strong performance from Vetements.

After replacing Gucci as the World’s Hottest Brand towards the end of last year, Balenciaga has maintained its position at the top of Lyst’s rankings for the latest quarter. Other labels featured in the top five places on the Lyst Index — the fashion search platform’s quarterly report — include Gucci, Off-White™, Stone Island and Vetements, despite recent claims of poor sales.

Another notable brand in the listings was Prada, which surged 14 places up the rankings to finish in 11 with popular pieces including its Cloudbust sneaker. The Lyst Index of top products for 2018 quarter one featured pieces including Off-White™’s black brushed diagonal hoodie, the Balenciaga Speed Trainer, and two items from Gucci: the GG logo belt and striped rubber slides. Gucci slides are the most consistently ranked product in the Lyst Index over the past 12 months.
