Though all eyes were on Virgil Abloh‘s recent collaborative Air Jordan 1 drop, Abloh’s Off-White™ has delivered an equally eye-grabbing lookbook for its Cruise 2019 collection. Dubbed “Impressionism,” the range is showcased against a stunning mountainside backdrop, complementing the drop’s painterly inspiration.
A host of Off-White™ staples are reworked for the new drop, including denim jackets, trousers, sweaters and long coats, with plenty of accessories bolstering the looks. Graphic detailing complements the surrounding locations; a textured jacquard parka nearly blends into the mossy rocks behind it, while camouflage pattern-accented puffer jackets and pants fit neatly against forest backdrops and grassy hills. Of course, plenty of clothes contrast with the understated scenery; yellow sneakers and dark pinstriped slacks purposefully jar with flower-dotted meadows and rocky vistas. Along with the vibrant denim, generously-cut tailoring and slouchy trousers, a host of branded shoulder bags, socks, scarves and belts reaffirm Off-White™’s love of branding, with a nylon buffalo-check cap to add further visual interest.
Expect the collection to hit Off-White™’s web store later this year. Until then, check out the label’s colorful Spring/Summer 2018 capsule collection with The Webster.
