Following its Fall/Winter 2019 showcase, A$AP Rocky-backed Japanese label UNUSED has returned with its new Spring/Summer 2020 lookbook. Taken behind a crisp white backdrop, the imagery highlights a slew of clean layers treated in rich pastel dyes and muted earth tones.
The collection includes an expansive series of styles informed by casual
American staples and sartorial cuts mixed with a bit of technicality: soft yellow hoodies and sweats, beige mac coats, purple bandana print shirt and pants, grey boiler suits, double-breasted blazers and baggy trousers, to mention a few. Garments like the pleated chinos and military-olive blazer highlight a unique take on bespoke styling, while pieces like the high-cut water-repellent jacket and white parka add extra functionality to the lineup. One standout piece is the pair of purple bandana pants. Bold paisley patterns border the waist, knees and sides, offset by smaller motifs everywhere else. Other garments like the striped cargo pants, knitwear and lightweight slacks round up the range of warm-weather necessities.
