Globe-Trotter Enlists Yohji Yamamoto for Limited Edition Trolley Case Featuring the Japanese designer’s own artwork.

Yohji Yamamoto x Globe-Trotter Trolley Case Femme Fatale Black 20-Inch Leather Silver Studs

To celebrate the launch of a new boutique in the Isetan Shinjuku store in Tokyo, Globe-Trotter has joined forces with Yohji Yamamoto for a sleek, black 20-inch trolley case. Crafted from vulcanized leather, the luggage showcases the British luxury luggage brand’s iconic aesthetic and traditional craftsmanship, as well as the famed designer’s trademark black and minimalist style.
The simple black exterior, punctuated with silver studs, features a scribble-like design referencing the collaborative Discord collection. Upon opening the case, Yamamoto’s Femme Fatale artwork covers the entirety of the interior, depicting a shadowy female figure dressed in disguise surrounded by graffiti-style artwork of printed logos. Merging minimalist design with luxe detailing, Globe-Trotter and Yamamoto have created a “work of understated elegance with a rebellious twist.”
Retailing for $3,740 USD, the collaborative trolley case is available to purchase now on Yohji Yamamoto’s website. The Discord Yohji Yamamoto collection will be available exclusively from the new Globe-Trotter concession at Isetan Shinjuku.
In other news, Mountain Research has released trek-ready wearables and thematic accessories for Summer 2020.
