Off-White Virgil Abloh Paris Fashion Week Men's 2018 Fall/Winter Timberland "Business Casual" Beastie Boys Nike Miguel Future Takashi Murakami Jerry Lorenzo Alexander Wang Luka Sabbat colette Sarah Andelman
Opening the second day of Paris Fashion Week: Men’s, Off-White™ mixed tailoring with informal pieces for its “Business Casual” show. The collection saw designer Virgil Abloh put his twist on suiting, opening the show with a branded pinstripe double breasted suit. Other formal looks saw cut-and-sew shirting and patterned wool overcoats. The “Casual” element of the collection featured puffa jackets, twisted polos and T-shirts, and even a full GORE-TEX tracksuit.
Other features from the collection included T-shirts that paid tribute to the Beastie Boys, more quotation mark-branded pieces (such as a “SCARF”) and what appeared to be an extension of the brand’s ongoing collaboration with Timberland. The collection also saw more strong footwear pieces, including industrial belt-branded loafers, spray painted Oxfords and ”RUNWAY” signed white Virgil Abloh x Nike Air Jordan 1s.
The show saw a number of influential names from the art, fashion and music worlds, with a guestlist including Miguel, Future, Takashi Murakami, Jerry Lorenzo, Alexander Wang, Luka Sabbat and colette‘s Sarah Andelman.
After you’ve taken a look at all of the shots above, make sure you’re up to date with all of our coverage from the Fall/Winter 2018 Fashion Weeks.
