Playboi Carti links up with Los Angeles-influenced label Palm Angels for a capsule range of collaborative goods. Reworked staples like denim trucker jackets are juxtaposed with track pants, with plenty of striking branding to be had.
Dubbed “Die Punk,” the collection spans a brief capsule range. Black denim jackets and hoodies complement track pants executed in either black or blue with white sidelines, all essential items in both Palm Angels’s collections and Carti’s wardrobe. The fashion label’s branding appears in white throughout the range, accented with “DIE PUNK” scrawled over it in bold red. More subtle details appear as well; a small “PALM” tag on the right chest pocket of the jacket is a tongue in cheek nod to classic Levi’s branding.
The drop goes down tomorrow, February 10 at New York’s Patron of the New. Most recently, Palm Angels showcased plaids, spikes and revised Western gear for Fall/Winter 2018, along with one of the season’s hottest trend items: face masks.
